Cash only, casual, great for large group meet ups, clean, cafeteria style, great service, heroes, pizza, usually some type of pasta dish, good chicken, carb oriented
I love pizza. This pizza has lost its flavor. They need to add salt and more taste to their pizza.
6 dollars for a average pepperoni slice!!! I’ll pass
Place has been there forever. Staff is nice enough but the pizza is hit or miss. Sometimes a thick crust and delicious. Sometimes it’s so oily I have to soak it up with a napkin, which I find rather gross. Sometimes it is so thin there are holes in the pie. And now it’s $4.25 a SLICE?!! There are still 99 cents a slice places in the city! Plus what kind of pizza place in Brooklyn doesn’t sell Italian ices?!!!
This place used to be really good, but when I visited today the quality has gone down drastically! We ordered from here plenty of times. Not sure what happened. The cheese tasted fake and there was no elasticity as if they used skim cheese. The cheese didn't stretch at all. All of my cheese slid off the slice as soon as I got it and it was very watery. The marinara sauce was very bland and tasteless too. How does this happen? Seems like they are cutting costs and their quality of food is suffering because of it. The guy taking orders seemed confused about everything and overall, I don't think I'll visit this business again. Disappointing.
Quality of this shop has gone down immensely. Been coming here since literal birth I have lived on ave L my whole life. All the old workers are gone & the recipe must’ve left with them. The price of a single slice has gone up more than $2 in the last 2 years while the slices get thinner with less sauce each time. The sauce tastes watered down & so do the drinks from the water fountain. Paying $4.25 for a cheese slice is so asinine. I come here when I’m feeling lazy because it’s a quick walk but I’d rather make my own pizza. Maybe don’t have 6 employees in the store standing around while the same kid always takes my order & you wouldn’t need to charge so much.
