It’s been 7 years since I’ve visited the Original Pancake House. The food is just as good as I remember. The service was incredible! The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There is a ramp right by the accessible parking. There is technically outdoor and indoor dining but I think people only eat indoors. The isles are narrow so be cognizant of that if using a mobility device. It may be better to sit at the front of the restaurant. Most tables are set up for 4 guests. Others can be combined for larger parties. Highly recommend to anyone! I don't eat pancakes, I would always opt for a biscuit. That is not on an option here and I know why. Best pancakes I have ever had! Delicious and warm! Craving one as I write this post. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. I come here two or three times a week. I loved to order the Canadian bacon but it has changed. The Canadian bacon is now like some kind of cheap lunch meat from Walmart. I have to ask for Splenda and extra napkins. It appears the new owners are real tight wads. I now notice that the restaurant is not very crowded. Cutting corners and being cheap does not constitute a loyal following. I started going to Snooze and they have everything and a pleasant change.
Yummy Waffles! Our waitress, Monica, was awesome!
Eggs Benedict and chocolate chip pancakes were amazing. Service was great too.
Their waffles are amazing! Everyone loved their food. Our waitress, Monica, was AMAZING! We will definitely go back!
Kinda feel sorry for reviewers who think this place is great. Maybe I just got it on a bad day but they need Robert Irvine in the worst way! Waitress was super nice and attentive/apologetic--none of this is on her. Everyone was wearing coats it was so cold, which made the generic food get cold very quickly. Came here for the apple pancake--their FLAGSHIP item-- and the one item they let themselves run out of ingredients for! So ordered eggs benedict and swedish lingonberry pancakes. Pancakes came out cold. Texture fine, not much on flavor. The lingonberry sauce I assume was from a jar and was ICE cold. The eggs benedict was a generic muffin with a generic thin slice of canadian bacon topped with a homemade egg covered in generic Hollandaise sauce. Like what you would make yourself at home in a hurry. The potato pancake side was the best item of all because it seemed scratch made and had some flavor. Kitchen looks grungy. Place needs a face lift and correcting the food issues. But for now I guess they'll cruise along on the adverts promising a pancake house experience you won't soon forget. And in a way, they are not wrong.
