Orenchi Ramen

7年前から通っています。変わらず美味しい。お店の混雑はかなり落ち着いて、長く待つことも少なくなりました。

Really really good ramen and the service is very friendly too

You must add spicy mayo ever……. Soooo delicious

Horrible place. Waited 20m to order and 30m for noodle to be served. There were only a few customers inside at that time! Not sure what took everything so long. The noodle was only served 2 minutes after we threatened to walk out, apparently nobody cared if any customer is waiting until you are pissed off. Food is extremely greasy and salty. Btw you probably need to pay 20+ dollars for a ramen before tax and tip.

The level of Ramen is way far from authentic ones in Japan.

Oh how they mighty have fallen. Orenchi used to be the pinnacle of ramen in the bay area. There would be lines out the door at a minimum wait of at least an hour. Nowadays you can get a seat right when you get there. I can all pinpoint it to several things really. One of the biggest I would say is greed. The busier they got the shadier they got with the customers... Less food for what you pay for with portions getting smaller and smaller. Then came the debacle of trying to make their own ramen noodle in-house which was an utter failure. Now we're at the point where the food quality has just gone downhill. The ramen broth no longer tastes the same and the prices are still out of premium. Not sure what led to the downfall but I can easily point it at the failed biz ventures they had next door and that causing some financial difficulties.

Food is ok, the environment is ok. Overall experience is pretty good.
