For the most part everything was great, but I had an unrealistic expectation based on previous internet searching. I was looking for the nest places in Sarasota/Siesta Key to have a sunset dinner. Ophelia's came up several times, and people even mentioned how many times they've tried to get outdoor seating. I got a reservation, requested outdoor seating, picked a time about 30 minutes prior to sunset... it was all looking good. Well the restaurant is one level, on the east side of Midnight Pass Road, and the outdoor patio is on the back, facing east into the bay/channel. Although pretty, Absolutely ZERO chance of catching a sunset while dining. Kid-friendliness: Although my three children were the only three I saw the entire night, everyone was friendly, and not printed, but my server did offer 5 kids dish options.

Amazing cocktail and wine selection curated by a master Sommelier- what a rarity. I had an amazing craft cocktail with cucumber juice - a taste of a 23 y/o aged claret A tuna seared to perfection paired with a New Zealand Chardonnay. What excuse do I have not to be on cloud 9?

The best seafood and atmosphere on Siesta Key. Our server Blake was very attentive, patient, and knowledgeable. Every dish our party had was excellent (sea bass, crab cakes, filet).

Overpriced. Server was first class, however.

I cannot say enough about this restaurant. The efforts of Exec Chef Reddel and Sous Chef Graham were superb, from the presentation of each dish and the flavors, to the recommendations from Billy Virzi the sommelier on dessert wines. All were excellent and made for a very enjoyable experience.

Stopped in here this evening for a quick drink and a dessert. Derek at the bar was very affable, served us quickly and made some excellent cocktails we also chatted with Billy who was providing us with insight he has acquired on the various wines they served. By the way, the bread pudding alamode was fantastic. Very nice atmosphere here too. If you haven't been here yet, make sure you stop in.
