Service is always delightful here! I had the miso soup which was perfectly salty and hot. The garlic edamame which are seasoned to perfection and a must have when coming. And lastly I had a salmon roll it wasn’t extraordinary but it was exactly what I ordered. I would absolutely go back.
My friend and I stopped by for their happy hour. The food, wine and drinks were great, the service was perfect, and everything looks so pretty. Will definitely be back. Parking: Park in the parking garage behind the building. Go down a side street to get there.
Solid B+ food. Very reasonable. Hip atmosphere
If you haven't been to Ootoya it is a must try in Orlando. One of my favorite sushi spots to visit in town. The fish is always fresh. My favorite sushi roll is the Hollywood. One of the most unique rolls I have ever eaten. The different types of fish pair well together and the presentation is quite eye-catching. For something more affordable, I would recommend going to their happy hour. The appetizers and drinks are a little cheaper and there is a deal where 3 sushi rolls cost $18. The only complaint I would have is that Ootoya is understaffed every time I visit. There is not a host in the front and it takes quite a bit to get someone's attention to get a table and to be seated.
This food was absolutely terrible, the Gyoza was decent but everything else was horrible and I did not finish eating. The crab rice had no lump meat as the description spoke of, the rice had the weirdest gummy texture. The sushi was mushy and gummy as well, I absolutely hated it and will never return. The worse $45 I’ve ever spent what a waste.
Server was willing to make changes to my order for me. Came out perfect.
I have yet to dine in here, but I live down the street and this is my new favorite local takeout spot. All the sushi and food is fresh and delicious. It's always high quality, fairly priced and fast. I'd like to dine in soon and also check out their happy hour one day too! Great place!
