Each meal I have had at this location has been at the least, disappointing. This most recent order had broken egg shells in the rice to such a quantity that it required digging and removing all of them. To be fair, I have not had the opportunity to reach out to their management due to my work schedule, but each issue I have had had been either prep failure, miscommunication from them, or just odd choices for default toppings. Which is more of my expectations on the last bit, but still leaves me no longer wanting anything from this location. Try the food here if you want, just don't go in with high expectations. You'll only be disappointed like me.
Oni Ramen is probably my favorite place to get ramen. I've gone quite a few times now, and not a single time have I left disappointed. I love their miso soup with pork belly. Their pork belly is sooo tender and flavorful and basically melts in your mouth. Their soy marinated eggs are also amazing. I also highly recommend the Tokyo Black ramen if you want something a little different, but it's just as great as their miso. You definitely have to be careful with their spice. The first time I came here, I got a 4/5, and was hardly able to eat without having to take a break every couple bites, and I'm really good with spice. If you want spicy, I recommend a 3/5, really spicy is a 4/5, and 5/5 for nose running eyes watering.
I actually enjoyed the non-confrontational feel. It was nice to be able to take my time using the tablet to customize my meal exactly how I wanted it. The food was hot, fresh, and surprisingly fast. There was a good ambiance, awesome artwork, and quality service. I would definitely recommend coming here.. we will be back. **I didn’t catch her name, but the bartender (lady with long black hair) was really sweet!**
Consistently delicious, probably my favorite ramen spot
There are warnings that say "spice responsibly" inside the restaurant. I can eat very spicy foods, but the demon sauce Ramen was hotter than I expected. The food was delicious, however. I would definitely try it again.
One of the best Ramen spots in Richardson(Dallas)!
Vegetarian options: They had 2 vegetarian ramen options, and you could customise some of the other ramens to be vegetarian or vegan
Walked in, saw they charge ridiculous prices to make the soup spicy or have an egg, walked out. Menu is misleading. Went to another place down the street not only was there decent parking they left the spices on the table to make it however spicy you want, didn’t blast heavy rap, make you seat yourself, and didn’t charge you for the egg.
The best ramen on DFW area.! We love this place, the girl at the bar is very friendly and the cooks prepare everything quickly.
