When life calls for a special place to celebrate! Service and food were excellent! Atmosphere/ambiance was really nice. Definitely not easy on the budget but for a special celebration, this was worth it!
Cutest little dinner spot. It’s very intimate and the food is fantastic with reasonable pricing.
I had a wonderful dining experience. The steak tartare was fantastic, the onion soup was delicious, and the Beef Bourguignon was wonderfully tender and flavorful. The Crème brûlée was a delightful finish, and our waitress provided exceptional service.
Trés belle experience! Delicious, charming, and immaculately clean. I only offer 4 stars of 5, because the restaurant, especially its facilities (the ones I visited) were very small- inhospitable to larger body types and to those who are differently able. The gastronomy was a delight. Bon nuit. Wheelchair accessibility: Perhaps on one of the terraces.
Once Upon a Time in France brings authentic French dining to Nashville, with divine escargot, steak tartare, and exquisite caviar. Paired with an impressive wine list, it's the ultimate spot for a cozy date night. A culinary gem for an unforgettable experience. My favorite French escape!
My favorite spot for French food in Nashville. I love the cassoulet, tartare, and creme brulee.
Had the lobster truffle soup and foie gras. Service was kind and responsive but the food was dissapointing. Soup had no peices of lobster or noticeable truffle flavor. It was also not very hot and served in a tiny tea cup with whipped cream on top. The froie gras was served on a tiny peice of toast. I've had froie Gras elsewhere that was nicely seared and paired with better bread and jam.
I've been wanting to go here; but they don't take reservations. I took a chance on my birthday and they had a table available. Definitely worth it. Parking: They have some parking immediately in front of and to the left of the building. Some parking spots are tight. Don't park on the right side. Those spaces are for another business. There's signs posted in both areas to guide you.
The moment you cross the threshold, you step into a tight but cozy bistro in France, completely forgetting that Nashville is behind you. We were walk-in on a busy night and they were kind, accommodating, and able to work us in quickly. The service was wonderful. The food delightful. Looking forward to going again.
I was visiting from Belgium . Very nice staff. Also speaking French. The dîner was just perfect! The crement was teastfull, the entrée was a ognion french soup, than a beef meat with french fries just perfect with a côte du Rhône and à crème brûlée for dessert! If you are at Nashville, go there for a nice dîner!! And the place is nicely decorated and cosy!! Just go and try !! G from Brussels!
