I was there the other evening and I wouldn’t go back if somebody paid me. Lousy service long wait times really they should probably get a zero.
The place was nowhere near crowded. The hostess didn't ask if we preferred a booth, just plowed past us to one. We asked for a table instead. She took us to the nearest one which had a trash can butted up to it. The table was clean, but nothing else was (floor hadn't been swept yet). The women's restroom had toilet paper all over the floor. The trash was so high it was almost touching the paper towel dispenser (not an exaggeration). I was holding judgment, hoping the server might save the night. Nope. She greeted us with a smile and had a great demeanor. Everyone of us had to ask for a beverage refill and she was gone so long between trips to check on us we never really finished getting settled into the meal. I probably won't go there again.
One of the older On The Borders which has had a major face lift from when we here last. For a chain, the food is very standard Tex Mex but that is not a bad thing. The chips were warm and hearty as always, the salsa was not too hot but still very good and plentiful. This time we just stopped by for some fajito Nachos to share. There was more than enough for two people but next time I will have to ask for more pico. There was just enough kick to make it interesting. Service was incredible - something I have always noted at almost all the visits at different locTions over the years.
Dietary restrictions: Had the chicken bacon ranch fajitas with veggies and no tortillas. Delicious
