Omarcito’s Latin Cafe

I decided to order and give them a try and it was definitely worth it. Everything we got was full of flavor. Half an order was enough to fill us up. The quesa ropa mixed extremely well and the sauces were fantastic. Will definitely recommend and make this a regular spot.

We are so lucky to have Omarcitos within walking distance! Favorites are the ropa vieja plate and black beans. Portions are really big, and nothing will be wasted!! Omar is a kind person who builds community. Pups are allowed as well! Go for breakfast too, and get a cortadito!!

Omarcito’s is one of the best places to eat in Chicago. The food is wonderful and Omar is hilarious and just brightens your day. So glad this awesome place is in the neighborhood. Everything on the menu rocks, but the Omarcito is excellent and I love the specials.

Loooooved this place ! Omar is so kind and attentive ! I love his accent! Made me feel like I was interacting with the people from la isla had the busted sandwich , simple and delicious but that ropa Vieja sandwich is out of this world delicious !!!! Also guava cheese was a must !!!!!

When here first time great service and food

Omar makes what are easily some of the best sandwiches you are going to find in this city of ours. It's honestly shocking there isn't a line around the corner every afternoon. Let's make that happen!

Like Wow!! Everything I has beyond delicious! I was in my own world with every bite! The fish sandwich with the secret Mayo sauce was foodorgasmic! The veggies and Ropa vieja empanadas were phenomenal. Sealed the deal with the Guava Cheese empanada that was an explosion of Love! Highly recommend and a must try! The ambience is also fun and warm!
