Quite delicious! Had a Gyro Wrap. It was simple, quick, and filling. The food came out fast. Our waitress seemed quite tired, but she was nice nonetheless. I did see a different waitress who had to deal with a table that was upset with various parts of their meal and she handled it gracefully. She didn’t lose patience with what seemed a difficult group.

Really enjoyed dinner here! Mentioned to the server I eat mostly vegetarian, and she suggested a roasted vegetable and potato couscous entree that was so amazing! Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had. The village salad can be shared and is also delicious. Fun atmosphere when diners around you order the flaming cheese—“Opa”!

This place has a lovely atmosphere and really nice staff. Dining here made me feel like I was dining with family. The owners are super nice and friendly and it was just a great time! You're served free bread with butter at the start of your meal, the bread was not my favorite and it was undercooked but I also came in pretty late basically when the kitchen was about to close. I tried the saganaki and it was fun but tasted okay, I'm not a huge fan of provolone so if you are I'm sure you'd love it. I also had the Tarama, I asked what the mousse was but the waiter couldn't answer that question because they didn't know. Anywho, I ordered it and I liked it. It was light and served with pita bread that was cooked perfectly. I didn't see any caviar in it or had any texture or tate of it so I'm sure if I was served the proper dish. The Greek olives were just as you would suspect, again not my thing, it was vinegary, but my friend loved it. As for the entrees my friend has the Gyro meal and it was massively packed with food, the gyro was good but room temp or below, it would have been nice to have something hotter. Besides that the flavor was great. I tried the stuffed salmon snd it was perfectly cooked, the salmon was juicy and tender. The crab meat is pre-made at the resturant and contains a spicy pepper so that part is not changeable. I liked the meal but I wish it had more butter. As for the sides, rice came with the salmon but it was undercooked and not my favorite. There was greek marinated baked potato slices, I didn't like them as they were very vinegary but they were cooked properly and my friend liked them. I also tried the crinkle fries and they were nice and crispy! As for drinks I was allowed to try 2 wines to see which one I preferred which was great. At the end of our meal we were offered complementary lemon cello shots which was such a fun time!

FANTASTIC everything. We went early on the Friday, around 5:30, of Memorial Day weekend. We had a party of 3, and they were able to accommodate us without a reservation. We started with a complimentary basket of delicious, airy, yet crispy bread with Greek olive oil to drizzle on it. Not pictured: the perfectly cooked Kalamari appetizer, the Baklava, and the wine! We weren't sure which Greek red to choose, and our server let us sample a couple, as well as the Rosè (which is on the drier side and wonderful). I believe the wine chosen was the Amethystos, delicious! I had the Greek beer, Mythos, also wonderful! A light lager full of flavor. The food: AMAZING. Just try as much of it as you can! The Greek dessert, Galaktoboureko, was amazing! It was very airy and light! The Souvalki: delicious, the pita perfect, and the Tzadaki was just right. Olympia Duo: she chose the Moussaka and the Pastitsio, both a huge hit! She said she couldn't choose between the two! Moussaka Dinner: also a huge hit! It's a favorite of my co-worker who has eaten here before! Ambiance and Atmosphere: it was pleasant! Great music that wasn't loud, a fresh rose on the table, real candles throughout the restaurant. Service: Terrific! She had plenty of recommendations and knew the menu well! She didn't make us feel like we had to rush out, despite them getting busier. I wish I could remember her name, but she had long dark hair and glasses and is gluten-free. Hopefully, the owners or manager sees this and knows who I'm referencing! Price point: It's a restaurant, on the river, in downtown Savannah. Dinner prices averaged $25-$40/person. $10-$15/glass of wine. It was 100% WORTH IT. I've eaten at several restaurants on the river since I work right there, and this is now my #1 on River Street.

My wife and I had dinner at the Olympic Cafe this past Thursday 2/22. I reached out ahead of time to check on their ability to accommodate my wife's allergies. I communicated with the manager Frances and was assured that we she would be able to have an awesome meal there. We had a reservation and were seated by our server, Ana, immediately. She was already aware of my wife's situation and went about letting her know everything she could have and a couple of items she couldn’t. And by the way, Ana was just awesome. We had the "M.D’s Red Roasted Pepper" as an appetizer. It was delicious. My wife had the Spanakotiropita and I had the Souvlaki Dinner. Both were exceptional. The food, the service, and the ambiance all surpassed expectations. If you really want some great Greek food we would highly recommend Olympic Cafe.
