First time I have been there since Covid hit in 2019. Not at all as I remembered. Don't think I will be going back.

Bland and lacks all flavor. Hard pass, and I'm shocked the business hasn't closed with their subpar food. How does hot and sour soup taste like water?

Besides the rude comment on my receipt because their delivery man refused to bring the food order to my bedridden mom's apt door after pre-tipping almost 50%, my Roast Pork Wonton Soup came without wontons.

The food is ridiculously good. Highly recommend the sauteed mei fun. All their noodle dishes are so good

Takeout on several occasions. Experience with Hot and Sour soup positive, consistent quality. Ha Gaw, (Shrimp) Dim Sum was good, consistent. Crystal Skin Vegetable Dumpling in photo on wall near kitchen but looked different. This type of dumpling comes tightly packed into very small container, dumplings are edge to edge. To take dumpling out of plastic container the skin can easily break. This also happened with the Ha Gaw but both Dim Sum were flavorful, tasted fresh. Some people taking orders could improve their attitude. Mocked for trying to pronounce Ha Gaw. Another time told the item I requested did not exist, had to show explicit photo of dumpling for person to pay attention, stop being insulting. While waiting for your order sometimes someone calls your order number, brings my order, other times ignored, the order sat behind counter. I know they are busy, the work may be uninteresting but they can be polite since our orders are paying their salary. Thanks.

I’ve always enjoyed Ollie’s special noodle soup. I’ve tried many wonderful dishes at the Times Square location. On this cloudy and rainy day we choose the roast duck chow fun and roast pork mei fun, both woth wontons- delicious and served with broccoli and bean sprouts. We shared a delicious roast duck bun. This Ollie’s is small location but seems to thrive on deliveries. We ordered at the counter and chose our table (there is no table service. ) very happy, would recommend and definitely return.

The food was really good before the pandemic. Now, 10/26/23, the food is rushed, lacking flavor and the scallion pancakes delivered are hard and old. I spent $52 and it’s eatable at best. When calling the restaurant to advise them of any issue expect excuses only. It’s time to try another Chinese restaurant.

3 stars for atmosphere since I have yet to dine-in here. The food is very nicely done, the service is fine whether by phone or in person.
