Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Today's service was on point! Super attentive without being intrusive.

Had a reservation for 6:20. Did get seated till 7:30. I ordered clam app for dinner. it was like eating rubber bands. Reordered a spinach dip. Buy time l got it everyone l was with was done there meal.

We went to the Olive Garden for a Birthday Dinner and were very disappointed. The server had not been there too long but was NOT properly trained. She was very friendly but that was all. We ordered soup and dinner. We emphasized we like our soup hot, not warm. No problem we were told. We waited and waited for the soup & breadsticks and finally someone came from the kitchen with our dinner. We asked where was our soup & breadsticks. Following right behind was our soup. We asked what was going to happen to our dinner while we ate the soup. Both were left on the table. The soup was barely warm so we sent it back. We were told to enjoy our meal and they would bring us hot soup when we finished. Not a very good solution. A couple at the next table with another server came in after us and had their soup and breadsticks and then their dinner before we received ours. The server was too just too friendly and stayed too long with some of the customers. As a result our soup was forgotten and left too long for pickup. We have been going to the Olive Garden for years but have noticed a decline in the last few visits. We won't be going back, there are other good restaurants we can spend our money in and enjoy the dining experience. Parking: Parking was an overflow site.

I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. Despite its seemingly impressive 4-star reviews, which are hard to believe, our experience was beyond disappointing. It's possible they manipulate their own reviews or have friends leave them. We were overcharged TWICE during our lunch visit with two adults and two kids. When we tried to resolve the issue over the phone, we were rudely blamed. It's ridiculous! They refused to provide a refund and instead insisted on offering a gift card, which is completely unacceptable. I find it hard to believe that they can't reverse an unauthorized transaction. The manager still hasn't bothered to return our call. The food was mediocre and I’m being generous. We only went because our kids insisted. The service was subpar – we waited excessively long for the kids' meals, ate separately because of the long wait, and had to ask twice for an extra spoon, which was initially ignored. They pointed out that the spoons are served with the dishes, we didn’t have any. They conveniently "forgot" to include the kids' drinks, which are supposed to come with the kids' meals. Despite ordering extra smoothies, when we mentioned the oversight, they had the audacity to blame us for not asking for them earlier. We're not the ones responsible for serving the drinks! Overall, it was an unprofessional and frustrating ordeal. We ended up paying almost $85, which felt like a complete ripoff. Save your money and dine elsewhere, whether it's Italian or any other cuisine.
