Olde World Bistro-Berlin

10 out of 10 would recommend! I ordered the grilled salmon and Lemon Risotto and was super impressed. Food was perfectly hot and quite delectable. Their baked goods are superb. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. The only downside was the noise level in the dining area. But that couldn’t be helped due to the acoustics of the building.

My family decided to stop here, because of the great reviews, instead of the typical amish buffet during our visit. I ordered the sticky burger, my husband had the pulled pork mac and cheese and my child ordered the kids mac and cheese meal. To say the least... someone definitely forgot the cheese in the mac and cheese. My child was the first to complain and I thought she was being dramatic until my husband said it was the worst thing he has ever eaten. Him not being picky, forced himself to eat it because of the price but my daughter would not eat anything after the first bite. I mixed it up and tried it, it was like straight milk on macaroni. I told the manager, who was great by the way, of the issue and asked if she could have a cold sandwich to eat on the way so we didn't have to go out of the way for fast food. She did that, as well as took my daughter's meal off the bill because it was all there, except for the 2 bites taken. Again, the manager was apologetic and said she had spoken with the kitchen staff. Upon looking at pictures of food in the reviews, I could clearly see that maybe this is an unusual occurrence because the mac and cheese looked good in the other photos. None the less, still a very disappointing visit.

This was our first time eating here and we will certainly be back! We have driven by here many times and can't believe we didn't try it sooner. Our meals were delicious and the service was outstanding! I had Potato Crusted Cod with Lemon Risotto while my husband had the Farm Chicken Club sandwich with sweet potato fries. We also enjoyed a salad and loaf of bread served alongside olive oil and herbs. We look forward to returning!

Went after calling for hours of operation.it said no reservations, gave the days and hours they were open. So we planned a meet... drove there, had others meet us there..... CLOSED. even the door said they were open. Bad business practices.
