Second visit to old town, does not disappoint.

Amazing food, great friendly staff and awesome happy atmosphere!

First choice to have food or drink .Great atmosphere,bartenders are always on point .The waitress/waiters are courteous respectful.

I’ve lived in central Texas all my life, but I’d never taken the time to explore downtown Bastrop. I was completely charmed, and historic places like Old Town are a big reason why. This place reminds me of a saloon from the Old West, except that the beer is really good! Friendly barkeeps, lots of regulars, great atmosphere. If I lived closer, I’d be here often.

The wings here are both juicy and flavorful! They have $1 wings on Wednesday and the mango habanero is definitely a must try

I was invited by the owner to come check the bar out, go in with my husband and sister in law. Granted we look young for our age, but the waitress who was “serving” us. Needed to ID first, respectfully. It became an issue after she took my husbands ID to every waitress in the bar just to come back and say he couldn’t drink there. When it became my turn to order a drink, she couldn’t give me a bar menu or try to upsell me anything. It’s like she did not care if we stayed or not. So we did just that, we left. Being a woman & in the same field of work that she does. I felt let down & uncontrollable. I did not feel welcomed. We will not be going back nor will we have any of our friends, colleagues, associates go here because of the way we were treated. Hopefully, this gets some attention.

Salsa was cold. Chips stale. Fried brussel sprouts were burned. Waitress was stoic. Won't be coming back.

Good was just ok. Place was packed. It is 7:15 Friday night. Only one open table. It was a five seater. I felt bad but I was hungry. As I looked around, I see small table that the manager was sitting at. Asked server about it. MANAGER WAS DOING SCHEDULING. GUESS THEY DO MOT HAVE AN OFFICE! Always thought tables were for PAYING CUSTOMERS!
