We originally scheduled a tunnel tour for a girls trip to learn about the nitty gritty details of Portland's speakeasy history. Natasha freaking served it to us on a silver platter and we ate it up! She offered us a very entertaining and fun learning environment while also letting us to explore the tunnels supervised. After the tour we were able to do a local beer tasting in the original speakeasy portion of the tunnels and were allowed a quick Q&A. The upstairs bartender Bob was also very accommodating after our tour while we exchanged a free drink token. Especially for myself who doesn't drink, he went out of his way to find a drink I would enjoy instead of alcohol! We would have stayed for a pizza dinner but our 2 hour parking was expiring and we had to leave. Would definitely recommend the tour, drinks, and to try out the food. Thank you!!

Great pizza and beer in an amazing haunted building. Had a few beers and they were all tasty. The northwest IPA in particular was my favorite last night. Pizza is delicious- had cheese and a meat combo. Someone at the table ordered a salad and it looked sooooo tasty. The garlic knots were garlicky and delicious. If you’re looking a good place to hang out and get pizza or beer - you can’t go wrong here. It’s a great spot, super nice staff, amazing beer, and crazy unique building space.

Did a tour of the tunnels with Doug as our guide. He was great guide with so much history on the area. Unfortunately no ghost sightings for us, but great experience and fun to learn about.

The underground tour was an amazing experience! I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to know more about Portland’s (and other cities) tattered past. I would do the tour again because there was so much to learn and soak in.

We booked a tour of the Shanghai tunnels shortly after moving to the area, to help understand the history better of our new city. Natasha was an awesome guide and had so much history to share about the city, the area, the tunnels, and just her love of researching weird and wonderful topics. (Make sure you ask her for book recommendations - or the best places in the city to have some spooky fun!) The beer was also delicious - I'm not normally a big drinker, but the Red Ale was delicious enough that we took a couple of tall boys home with us. We also ate a couple of slices of cheese pizza once the tour was over, and I have to say - as a New Englander who used to live in close proximity to both NYC and New Haven, this pizza was surprisingly delicious! The crust was crispy, the cheese was gooey, and the slice was bigger than I expected - not quite "jumbo-slice" sized, but still enough to hold me over for a few hours! Overall, I'd recommend the tour, the libations, and the food - it was a great way for some new Portland residents to enjoy a Friday evening!

There used to be (pre-Covid) an underground tour that was FANTASTIC and featured even a trap door used for kidnapping people. It was led by a passionate tour guide. This tour is not that good nor was the tour guide that knowledgeable. It is basically a walk through of several connected basements in which you are ducking below piping listening to a script about the history. I will not be going again.
