We came to Old Town Kitchen & Cocktails on a late Saturday night for some cocktails. When we sat down and looked at the menu, we decided to order a few small plates. We sat at the bar and spoke to the bartender. She was friendly and informative. We learned about the establishment and was glad that we can come to a local place to eat. The restaurant felt familiar like a place where you can meet up with friends to talk, eat, and drink. We had our drinks, ate, and just relaxed and chilled for a while, then headed home.
Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options.
Love them food
Food was not good. I like the atmosphere though.
It was really good however the chicken was really overcooked
We attended RENT at Winthrop University and stayed for dinner after the show. The food was very good.
Parking: 2 parking garages in vicinity.
The food was ok, but not great. Cocktails were underwhelming and they were out of a liquor needed to make a drink I wanted. Drinks were also very slow to come out. The server was funny and nice. The place is well decorated and looks cool. Workers were cleaning the floor about an hour before closing and the noise was a little annoying.
I simply cannot say enough positive about this amazing restaurant! The food is delicious and the menu changes by season to offer the freshest food. The ambiance is cozy, friendly and warm. Now, to my favorite part; my daughter has several food allergies and they went above and beyond to accommodate! The chef even came out to talk to us to ensure he was aware of them all to make sure she was safe. This is our third visit, and there will be so many more! Thank you for being so accommodating!
Would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food was amazing. I would recommend the brussel sprouts for sure and the banana pudding! Mia waited on us and she was great!
I love cocktails and I'm a cocktail drinker for the past 18 yrs. I would say this place has a very (very) pricey cocktails that you even didnt feel the alcohol in the drink. I strong suggest the owner or the manager to compare the qaulity of your cocktails with the competitors. You shouldn't charge that price when you pour tiny drops of alcohol in the drinks. The duck dumping dish was very sweet, it was too sweet to be a main dish. It has generous amount of duck meat. I'm not sure why chef decided to have that dish super sweet..well..its not a dessert. Last, the waitress on the day we visited dressed like a punk. I do respect on personal taste and values. But there are some certain dress codes that you can wear and can't wear at work. Especially when this resturant changes premium price for foo, but resturant has a punk looking girl with 3 colors of hairs, peirce, etc that didn't even ask if you want salt and paper with your main dish. For us, that was too much and we didn't want to be back and overcharged.
