Awesome brewery 👍

A total completely hidden gem. No fancy location but mega uber fancy beer with a wonderfully friendly staff. My mind was blown and I went back again later that evening. Looking forward to Bachata night !

First off the old possum use to be a great place to enjoy a beer at. Recently things have been awkward and unfriendly. The beers haven't been making me or my friends feel good. We get a little sick after just a beer or two and the ribs made me sick a week ago. After Barrio and Austin's BBQ left its gone bland. The management of the tap room is wild to say the least. Does not feel friendly anymore after years of going to old possum. Sad to see it go down this road honestly.

I'm not sure exactly how to go about this review as our experience here was pretty unique to say the least. we didn't try the food but the beer was great and we loved their outdoor seating. the service however was abysmal. the young woman who was working behind the bar was very heavily under the influence. eyes rolling, unsteady on her feet, spilling beer, unable to remember orders. she played very loud, vulgar music which doesn't bother me but there was a family with children outside who didn't seem to enjoy hearing "shake that monkey" not once, but twice in a row. she told us she couldn't tap a new keg because she was the only one working but there were two other people there, a cook and another server who seemed pretty exasperated with her inebriated coworker. when I came in to get our second round, the intoxicated woman was shooting syringes of hot sauce into her mouth, then coughing to the point of gagging all over the bar without covering her mouth. it was sad and embarrassing to see her in this state while on the job. I really hope the management at old possum will get her the help she needs as well as adjusting their employee consumption policies.
