I’ve stopped by Old Nation several times now on my way across the state, and I’ve been happy with every visit. This last time I tried one of their burgers and a flight of beers, and both hit the spot. The burger was very rich and juicy, and their olive sauce really packed in the salty and umami flavors. Their beers are, as always, excellent. Boss Tweed and M-43 are some of the better IPAs I’ve tried, and their other options were all solid. It’s definitely worth seeking out Old Nation.

Good beers and great food. Friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor seating. A little remote but worth the drive. Flights and growler fills. Reasonable prices. Cheese curds and pulled pork tater tots are awesome!

Great food and staff

No power no problem. We visited on the Friday after a tornado had just ripped through the area. They didn't have power. They fired up the grill and took donations and sold beer at a bargain to support their community. These were the owners and managers. They told their hourly staff stay home take care of your families. What an amazing experience. Oh the beer was pretty good too

We had Dale(?) as a server. My wife has food allergies. He made sure my wife was safe. Honestly I don't know what was better, the food or the service. If I have to choose, Dale takes the cake. He went above and beyond. Don't get me wrong, the food is great too.

Best beer in the greater Lansing area.
