The waitress was slow on bring my family drinks and we ordered all you can eat catfish it took her for ever to bring more out other then that everything else was just great 👍. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs if needed and have entertainment for them as well Parking: There is a lot of parking and it fills up fast so you have to get there early.
Catfish terrible, scallops tough..
We have gone to Old McDonalds for many years to eat dinner. We always order the all you can eat catfish. We have always ordered a couple extra fish after the first helping to bring home to have for dinner the next day. This has NEVER been a problem until our last visit last weekend. We asked for a couple extra fish as usual and ate part of them. When we asked our waitress for to go boxes she stated we could not get to go boxes due to ordering more fish. My wife didn’t eat all her fish from her original plate but since we ordered the extra, she couldn’t bring hers home either. So since we couldn’t eat all the fish and couldn’t bring them home, the fish were wasted. My opinion is this could have been handled differently. The waitress could have provided the boxes but said the restaurant does not allow the take outs any longer with the all you can eat plates. My wife even asked if there had been a change in their policy and the waitress said “no”. Another suggestion is to include that information on the menu.
Family enrolment. Loved watching the goats, peacocks, geese and ducks.
What?! Wow! We rode our Harleys up from Atlanta (shout out to the Thunder Tower HD dealer) to celebrate the owner's birthday. Fried everything (fish, scallops, chicken, fries, etc.). Great ride, great venue (if you've never heard a peacock's call, come check this place out), great food, and excellent Southern hospitality.
Food and staff are always very good and welcoming.. catfish stew awesome
