I just went Saturday for the first time. I was so disappointed!! Old building… The tomatoes were good without the toppings. My greens were not good at all. I should have cooked some for them. The rib tips were flavorful, but tough. The mash potatoes were soooooo salty!! Like someone made a mistake and poured too much. The tea needed more tea. My drink was good, but didn’t seem to have alcohol, and it was super little for $15. They sat us downstairs in the back… The walls look moldy back there. Got to pay for parking at the restaurant or park somewhere else. They automatically add 18% to your ticket, then the waitress asks for an additional tip. The 18% is split 5 ways. Whew child! Just ghetto, bland food, and over priced. The only good thing was the fried deviled eggs… The owners should be ashamed of themselves, and people will continue to support simply because they’re hoping to run into a celebrity. I will NEVER go back here. $95 wasted…

We waited almost two hours for my meal. My wife’s meal partially came out after the first half hour. Our drinks after the first hour after having to ask twice for them. We were there so long that the place closed and we were the only ones left. We ended up getting my food to go because they had closed and ten minutes after closing time the place smelled of pot so bad that we couldn’t have enjoyed our meal anyways. The other customers around us also had issues with getting their meals. The waitress was very nice but she was just overwhelmed and was getting no help. We paid over $70 for a two person meal that could have been better prepared and served faster at Chik-fil-a. I ended up throwing it away because it was so bad. Might be the worse dining experience I’ve ever had.

OLG has 5-star food but needs to work on their service and operations. 1.5 hours to get our food!!! That's unacceptable (no they weren't that busy)... Parking: rough!

It really pains me to leave a poor review for OLG because I was warned several times before finally going. I heard a lot of mixed reviews & mostly negative ones but I do know that we all have different taste buds and soul food can be a tricky topic because we are all so different. I went with a group of 6 and only one of us liked our food. She had the salmon with sweet potato soufflé and greens. I had shrimp and grits but if you would’ve blind folded me, I would’ve thought it was rice and cream of wheat mixed in a food processor. I will say the images on the OLG IG page of my plate didn’t look that appealing but I was being optimistic. My personal plate looked better than theirs but the flavor was just not there. I also ordered a side of Mac and cheese and never got it. The service was just okay though, not terrible. The fried green tomatoes were good & so was the peach cobbler. Those things alone aren’t enough to give this place another chance. Glad to say I tried it but certainly won’t again.

Came from Australia just to try and it didn't disappoint! The food was so tasty, we had the devilled eggs, chicken and lamb chops with sides of mac n cheese and smahed potatoes. Everything was new and different from what we had tasted so far in Atlanta. So glad we came. Thanks OLG!!
