Staff is always friendly and foods pretty good.

Great food. Get a plate instead of the sandwich. Same price and twice the meat. Yum!

Trash service. They have daily specials that cost the exact same on the regular menu… How does $11 x2 before taxes equal $28 after? I ask the heavy set guy cutting the meat if the brisket was moist and he catches an attitude then proceeded to cut 2 ounces of brisket and sends it to the back. Then the guy at the register didn’t even know that the daily deal was and had to go check just to come back and say “ it’s about the same price anyway “. What’s the point of having a daily deal if the prices don’t differ much from the regular menu. Also try measuring the meat if you’re going to change $28 for 4oz of brisket, chips, and cheese.

Closed Tuesdays now. Very good traditional Texas BBQ in an old building. They have a smoker and wood pile in the back. Quick service. Has gotten to be more expensive than it looks though. Great for take-out. (Don’t order the delivery because it doubles the price.) I always get chopped beef and haven’t tried other meat here. It’s very lean and good. You can feed 3 people with 1 lb chopped beef + 2 sides + 4 rolls if you order extra rolls. Some sides are fresh. Caesar salad is good. Cheesy potatoes great. Green beans are swimming in grease. They have tables inside, picnic table outside, cold pie, soft serve ice cream, plenty of ice tea. Sunday kids eat free. The food here is way better than Buc-ee’s if you’re coming up the highway.
