Great hot chicken and mac salad! Truly a nice owner and fun staff. We had a great experience!

This hot chicken place is a "that is how my grandma used to cook fried chicken" kind of place. No matter what peice you get it's a jumbo size. The skin is crispy, chicken is juicy. I tried extra hot, but even though it wasn't very spicy, the flavor was balanced. The owners treat customers like a family. This place is just terrific overall.

I read another review that said WALK DON'T RUN--best advice i've ever gotten. do NOT listen to the one star reviews from the folks that came when they were closed. it was due to a fire and no fault of their own. They are open for business and the food is amazing!!!!! Grandaddy T and Miss Kim are tearing it up in old hickory. Best greens I've ever had and the okra ain't far behind! do yourself a favor and make the drive. You won't be disappointed!!
