The woman at the front during security was so beyond rude, I didn’t even know what to say. I don’t know if she was deeply unhappy with her own life or just pure racist but it was most definitely something. I was entirely disappointed because naturally I’m understanding, if there’s certain club/bar rules that are not an employees fault I’ll get it, but she proceeded to take extra steps beyond simple rules as instructing us to walk down the street to trash something and turning our IDs back and forth with a sincerity I’d normally only find in a Chauvinist. I truly didn’t expect something so extra from a girl who has fake dyed blond hair but ok sure. I did my best to maintain a positive energy but she really just took it all. Will not be returning and would not recommend anyone else to go - especially if you are of color.
This is a cute, more intimate spot and this was my first time (it was Halloween). The drinks were priced really well compared to what I’m used to (like $10 for a gin and tonic) and . I will say the vibes downstairs were more like a typical bar (and the speakers weren’t great), where upstairs starts to venture more into dancing vibes. The DJs were immaculate in all areas. I will definitely be going again to see what it’s like on a regular week.
Beautiful space with disco decor and a fantastic DJ. Dancing and fun ambience.
