A unpretentious little country pub well worth the visit, just make sure that the River Trent isn't flooding. Cosy interior, friendly staff, usual pub menu at good quality and reasonably priced. As an unexpected bonus a couple of geezers were quietly playing old rock songs on their guitars. We really enjoyed our evening there.

Small, friendly traditional pub that serves excellent food at very fair prices. Great staff and the food is home cooked. Will definitely go again
