The bartender was easily the drunkest person in the place, could barely stand and was throwing around our debit cards and ID’s, when told he lost our friends ID he decided to scream in her face instead of be helpful in anyway (it was found on the ground several feet away from where she was paying), he then began to scream homophobic slurs repeatedly and throw liquor at our group. I’m not the kind of person who goes around leaving reviews even if I had a negative experience but this was truly ridiculous, it was the first bar we had been to all night and he had insisted that we were the ones who had to much to drink. And I’ve never seen a bartender that drunk in my life, get yourself together man.

We are in town from Minnesota for a friend's wedding the the Old City Beer Garden happened to be about a block away from our AirBnB. Our first bartender Kelsey was absolutely freaking amazing! I have literally never had service as good as she provided. When she left after her shift, JuJu was out new bartender and was pretty damn great as well! I will be in Philly again and this will be the only place I go to for some fun and some drinks. Thank you so very much Kelsey, we can't wait to hang out with you again!!!

This place was charming. We had nachos, garlic fries and wings. Everything really good and the service was great. Bartenders were friendly and very polite. Only drawback was restroom, have to go downstairs to use restroom.

Exactly the drinking experience I wanted, outdoors, not too crowded.
