Hostess was friendly but she sat us at a dirty table. When the server FINALLY came around for our drink order (restaurant was mostly empty), we asked to get the table cleaned. She acknowledged the dirty table and got our drink order but decided being on her phone in the distance was more important. We waited long enough to decide this wasn't going to be a good experience and left. Sad to see a longtime establishment go the way it's going. This one will probably go the way of the Academy location soon.

Great atmosphere great customer service food was nice and hot. Second time there and I’m pretty sure it won’t be my last.

Old Chicago used to be a nice place with good food. I ordered the wings, they warm not hot warm with limp celery and no carrots. My wife ordered a chicken ceaser salad, which came with frozen lettuce when we told our server she had it remade, and it came back with frozen lettuce again. My son ordered cheesy garlic bread and a small cheese pizza. This was thankfully okay.

I'm in a wheelchair and went in to eat with my family. I'm in a wheelchair and the hostess asks if we mind being seated in the taproom. Noted the taproom only has raised tables that I can't roll my chair up to. Service was also incredibly slow, I can understand if restaurant was busy, but they really weren't. Maybe hostess thought I could just get out of my chair. I was annoyed and probably won't return to this location any time soon. Food was good, but hassle not necessarily worth it.

We walked in on a Sunday for lunch and stood at the front for over 5 minutes and nobody even greeted us. I literally called the restaurant and told them that my group had been waiting at the front just to get seated. After we were seated, a server never so much as greeted us. After sitting at the table for more than 15 minutes without anyone even saying hello to us, we got up to leave. We had been at the restaurant for over 20 minutes total and had been completely ignored the whole time. Ridiculous. As we were getting up from the table to leave, a waiter finally noticed us and came over and said, “oh I was just coming over to you guys!” as of this makes it all better. As soon as I told him that our family of 5 was leaving because we’d been sitting there for more than 15 minutes (and yes, I am sure of the time because I could look at my phone to see exactly when I called the front to get seated), he got very defensive and rude, almost shouting at us. He explained that they were short staffed and that everything was running behind that day- cool, we’ll make it easier on you and just leave. I don’t feel the need to give my money to a place that ignores my family for that long, and then has the disrespect to speak to me as if I am the one in the wrong. Communication in this case, could’ve gone along way, they could’ve told us when they seated us that they were behind and that it was going to be a long wait, given us the decision that if we wanted to stay and wait that long. Honestly, if that said it to me respectfully, I probably would’ve stayed and waited. This server could have taken 10 seconds to come by and greet us and let us know he’ll get back to us- that in itself would’ve probably saved our experience. It just feels really stupid and disrespectful to stay sitting there, looking around, trying to make eye contact with a staff member, and they all are 100% ignoring us. I have never been to a restaurant and had an experience like this. I leave reviews on Google, and I’m sorry to say that this is the first time I have left a fully negative review. I’m an optimistic person, I’m polite to employees at restaurants and stores, and I took my time (8 days) deciding if I even wanted to leave this review, because I’m not the kind to trash talk a business, but ultimately I decided to leave it because people should know… the upper management at Old C’s should know, and then hopefully they train their staff to communicate better and to be respectful to patrons.

I ordered an individual size make-your-own pizza for $15. The pizza was ok but tiny. That was a choke as I did not order a kids-size pizza. Totally overpriced.

Wouldn't know how the food tastes because we never got served. We came in yesterday at 5pm, they were not busy. We were seated immediately and then we waited and waited and waited and recieved no service. We flagged down a waitress after 15min she gave us a head nod we figured she'd come to us after handling her task but nope. 23min we sat there with 4 waiters buzzing around us. We finally got up and left. On the way out the young male hostess told us thanks for coming, we advised him we never recieved service he said, "whoa I sat you guys a long time ago" yup... you did.
