Had a great lunch today with my family at Old Chicago Pizza due to the wonderful service provided by our server, Yale! It's not easy working in the service industry, but she did so with a smile and genuine care. She checked on us many times to make sure we were enjoying our meal. There was another waitress that wasn't working our table that saw us trying to take a family photo and instantly offered to take the photo for us. So sweet! The food was also delicious!
There is absolutely nothing “Chicago” about this place. No Chicago style pizza here, not even Detroit style. I would rather have gas station pizza picked off the floor then eat at your restaurant of lies. I hope you go out of buisness.
They have closed, so this review does not matter too much. This location could have used a make over. Our Server was very good and attentive. Food was good, pub fare, and good for what it is.
Had to find a waitress. Fried mushrooms were mushroom pieces. Food wasn't what I have had at other Old Chicago's. Just not impressed with this one.
Went there for a pickup. The food was good but not on par with what it usually was. Sad to see this location go.
My cheesesteak was so salty I took one bite and almost puked. Steak looked rubbery. Sent it back. Tried my Caesar salad and it was all lettuce, clumped up cheese and stale croutons. Sent it back. My daughters spaghetti tasted like cheap tomato paste with noodles. My husband threw up his beer burger. Service was awful, waitress seemed miserable. Looks like they’re selling this location too. So. Don’t go here. AWFUL food. Awful awful.
Unfortunately this location has permanently closed. It was a staple for after class beers back in the day.
