Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

Food was okay here. Ordered the classic cheddar burger and it was pretty tasty! But I wouldn’t recommend the cheesy garlic bread. It wasn’t good. My nephews ordered the macaroni and cheese and they didn’t really like it. Service was okay, but our waiter spent most of the time talking to his friends. Overall, it was an okay dinner.

Most of the food was great but we have not had great luck with this one for service. This time we were sat in a normal wait time 20 min but then sat for a while before anyone saw us. Then we saw that our drinks were ready but our waiter was caught up with his large table due to some new system for payment. He had to help each person with their check. We got our drinks and ordered our food. The kids got their pizzas and fries when our appetizer came out which was good. Our food was great except the burger was dry well done no pink. We asked for medium a little bit of pink is perfect so not what we wanted. Then we got the check had a couple gift cards, they couldn't get they'll to work with the hand held so had to go to their computer to run them when he gave us our check we saw it was the wrong one that was charge ld for so we had to wait for him to come back and then again for him to figure out how to fix it. It was a lot of wait time when we have two younger kids and for mess ups.

One of the best spots in the Springs for wings, calzones and pizza. We had the sweet chile and Applewood bbq wings, combo calzone and the Tuscan chicken, spinach pizza. All were excellent, great flavor and cooked to perfection. We also had the Voodoo Ranger Juicy IPA, very refreshing and unique flavors. Carter was our server and attended to our every need, very attentive and explained the beers very well. Will be back.

My husband and I are here because they said we could eat on the patio with our dog. The food was pretty good, the pizza was the best. The service was really great, I wanted to give a shout out to Beth and Victoria for their service. Our dog got sick on the patio and Beth was like "oh don't worry about it I'll just get some water to flush it into the grass" when we asked for paper towels to clean it up ourselves. She also got our dog some water. Victoria was on top of checking on us, even tho we were the only ones outside. Thank you guys!

Came in for lunch, the restaurant was mostly empty other than about twenty or so cops having lunch as a group. Host starts to bring us to a table, and then turns around and says that he forgot he is not allowed to seat anyone because they are on a 25 minute hold. I assume the big group must have just ordered and backed up the kitchen, but how can you run a business that backs up the kitchen for 25 minutes when only a quarter full at most. Disappointing first experience during my limited lunch hour and most likely won’t come back. Parking: Worn out lot but works fine

Everything was slightly sub par but not awful. We waited for about 10 minutes with nobody speaking to us & the restaurant was empty. We were about to leave, when someone finally sat us. Every time I needed something, I had to find & flag down our waitress who spent most of her time chatting with coworkers. Atmosphere is NOT Old Chicagos. Way too pedestrian for such a typically classy place. The decor is that of a Burger King. Don't recommend.
