One of my favorite restaurants EVER. Whenever we swing by Rochester we ALWAYS stop in!

I go through cravings for this place and just have to find a reason to make the 50 minute drive to Rochester to get my bowl. I've never had a bad experience from customer service to the actual food. Always feel good about what I eat here, enjoy the atmosphere, and like to introduce new people to the place. No one has been disappointed.

Great tasting healthy options

Really liked the blueberry crumble donut and coffee. Very cool inside.

My favorite joint in Rochester thus far. Stellar stars across the board. The food, atmosphere, prices, and service are all lovely. I even made a few new friends. Vegetarian options: Most of the menu is vegan, so that means everything is also vegetarian! Things that are listed as “pork” or “bacon” are actually meat substitutes. I did not miss the meat, and I am not a vegetarian or vegan. Dietary restrictions: The menu is largely vegan, and many of the menu items are customizable upon request. The staff is courteous and accommodating. Parking: There is street parking available for free. The nearby parking lots are for other businesses. Kid-friendliness: I saw people of all ages coming and going for dine-in and take-out. The staff, music, and decorations were all family friendly. I went there for dine-in brunch at 10:30 AM.

Checked it out for the first time about a month ago. Enjoy the calm, laid back vibe inside. Staff was very nice. Selection was a fun change from the usual doughnuts around town. Very affordable.

I had a lovely experience at Old Abe! I was visiting from out of town, and found this vegan place - everything was delicious, the staff were very helpful (and tolerant of my silly mood), and even gave us a sandwich they prepared by accident. The coffee drinks were delish, they even accommodated my need to have something not too sweet or coffee-ish. The atmosphere was very fun, and even the random reading materials where we sat were sweet and fun. Highly recommend Old Abe!

Extremely lazy people run this place. Most food options are unavailable for brunch. A request for hot chocolate was met with swiss misses mixed in lukewarm water. The food was below average. No matter how fancy the names of dishes sound, they taste very bland and the place has no idea how to use any spices or sauces. Their service quality is inversely proportional to the size of the tip they ask from you on their fancy payment interface.

Tried Korean “beef” and the “ribs” bowls - both great, the beef just slightly dry but both super tasty. I’d say a tiny bit more drizzle sauce and less rice would be even better. Half dozen donuts were amazing. Friendly efficient staff and cute little cafe environment. A definite win for Rochester.

Was so happy to find flavorful and filling vegan food in this town. Chill atmosphere and friendly staff. Will be back! Vegetarian options: Tasty and filling vegan sandwiches & bowls
