Excellent in every way. I haven't encountered a place that had blue fin, Hokkaido scallop, otoro, and uni. Excellent waitresses.

Awesome atmosphere and great service. Trinity made my wife’s birthday celebration one to remember. Don’t pass on the truffle butter edamame. Your future self will thank you whole heartedly.

We have dined at O-ku before, and are beyond thrilled that GVL finally has a high-end, modern sushi restaurant with great cocktails, beautiful and incredibly tasting food, and excellent service! Overall wonderful dining experience!!

Crème de la crème out of this world. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The music is ~really~ loud inside the restaurant though.

The Hamachi Carpaccio is perfection.

Worth every penny! We sat at the sushi bar; it was so amazing to watch all of them work and create such beautiful dishes. Our server Ali was extremely considerate and accommodating she even brought us her favorite dish. The food was PHENOMENAL! The playboy roll and the matcha green tea creme brulee were so delicious!

First of all just wanna start by saying thank you so much to our server Cici!! She made our experience absolutely over the top amazing!!!! She had excellent time management, very detail oriented, being so sweet and additionally treating us to 2 small apps for our anniversary!!Secondly THE FOOD omg we started with the crispy rice and so good amazing they put love into that rice then Cici brought out THE BEST MOST DELICIOUS THING I HAVE EVER PUT IN MY MOUTH and that would be the Salmon Usuzukuri it was like an explosion of flavor then she brought out the truffle edamames and in that moment I had the best edamames I have ever had in my life then we got the entrees my boyfriend got the 12 piece chef choice and I got the G.O.A.T roll he loved everything but wasn’t the biggest fan of the octopus and mackerel and he agreed that it was purely off of his certain taste/likes however I loved mine but at this point I was so extremely full I couldn’t take another bite. Lastly the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful, very peaceful and relaxing and they had really nice updated music playing that was setting the whole vibe of the restaurant. We will definitely be back!!

Dropped by the restaurant for their happy hour special. Now let me say, that was incredible value. Great ambience, friendly and attentive staff, and the sushi was great.
