Kimchi Pancakes and Crab Rangoon were so good. The Beef Hot Stone bowl was on with the added spicy sauce. The Soju Sampler is a great way to try several different flavors. Delicious and definitely worth the price.

Fantastic kimchi and great Korean bar food all around

I'm not very familiar with Korean food (I've had bibimbap a couple times), but Okja is a premium experience. I was with a large group and saw a lot of dishes. They were all extremely fresh and presented beautifully. The FRIED SHRIMP looked scrumptious. I thought I'd try something new so I ordered a shot of PEACH SOJU (yum) and the CHADOL DOENJANG STEW (soybean paste stewed with brisket, tofu, onion, zucchii, jalapeno, scallion). What a treat! It was served in a giant bowl, steaming and actively boiling. It was so hot I had to take small spoonfuls and blow on them for the first 5 minutes. What a delight. The unique flavor was very good. I would definitely order it again. I also sampled some BATTER FRIED PORK which was not golden brown, but a marbled white. It was fascinating. I don't know the cooking method but it was crispy and delicious. The only negative was a slight language barrier, but we figured it out and even learned how to say "Cheers!" in Korean: Geonbae! (KUN-bay)

As someone who's always on the lookout for great food and a GOOD EXPERIENCE, this place nails it, no doubt. I've been hoping to find a Korean restaurant with both good food and a pleasant atmosphere in this area, but it's been a struggle. Other places might have decent food, but the service always falls short. However, when you visit this spot, you'll notice that the owners genuinely care about creating a great experience for customers. The taste brings back wonderful memories, and I genuinely enjoy being here. Concerned about ingredient cleanliness? Opt for a to-go order, they meticulously package each ingredient separately, allowing you to witness the cleanliness firsthand.

Jjampong was on point.

By far my favorite Korean spot in the area. The service was absolutely outstanding - you feel so welcomed and can tell the staff love what they do. The food - outstanding flavor and execution. Our must tries include the sweet & spicy fried chicken, tteok bok ki (very spicy but a good heat), and our favorite was the ojinguh bokkeum (stir fried squid and veggies that were cooked to perfection). Bonus - multiple favors of makgeolli! Can’t wait to go back! Thank you!
