Food was great, spring rolls were piping hot and the miso ramen was great and full of very tender pork, not too busy which I hope to see change soon, definitely recommend!! Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly, just may need to teach them how to use chopsticks!
Very good sushi!!! Ordered take out. Coco and Golden Roll. Not cheap. But the quality and taste was outstanding!
So, I ordered from @Okinawa Japanese Cuisine for my birthday through DoorDash this year and was blown away by the quality and taste of the food. I really enjoy sushi, but my wife doesn’t do seafood. She ordered their beef tenderloin and we both agree it was amazing. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, the sauce was delicious, and the beef was sublime. I’ve been eating sushi now for about the past ten years and have always struggled to accommodate my wife with other sushi restaurant menus because the non-sushi stuff tends to be an afterthought at a sushi restaurant. But, that is NOT the case here at Okinawa Japanese Cuisine. My wife felt, for the first time, included in the order because not only were they able to accommodate her preference for not-seafood, they wowed her taste buds with an extremely tasty and well-balanced meal. With that out of the way, I can discuss my order: i had a Golden Roll, a Spicy Girl Roll, and an Ichiban Roll. They were SO tasty vkusni! The Ichiban roll is deep fried and just had such a flavor profile that burst in my mouth. I really enjoy that sensation of “layered flavors” with a deep-fried sushi roll. I’m now a HUGE fan of this restaurant and cannot wait to visit in person.
I can’t believe this place has over 3 stars literally anywhere. I ordered Miso Soup, Kani salad, gyoza, and a couple of rolls. First things first there was some kind of plastic or woven string in my miso soup about 4 inches long and I couldn’t even rip it apart when I tried. The picture of the kani salad is attached because it really shows what their food is like irl. Their sushi is limp and soggy and comes apart. Sushi rice texture and taste is off. Kani salad was the absolute worst Kani salad I’ve ever had in a sushi place. I was genuinely shocked at the food quality. The only thing I was able to stomach was the gyoza. 1.3/5 stars for the food. People will say this is the best sushi they’ve ever had because this is Denver and they literally don’t know any better.
Other then them stealing 10 dollars from my account by giving themselves an additional tip it was great. Will edit if it gets resolved was told I would be called back by the manager in 24 hours that was a few days ago. Very disappointed. Edit: no one has called me back and I will be having to dispute it through the bank. Definitely not worth the hassle this place has caused.
Fine sushi in an inviting environment.
