Okaeri Japanese Cafe

Stopped in at 3pm on a Saturday and it was empty! We had a quick treat driving through. A melon mochi doughnut and a Hojicha frappe. Delicious!

Cute cafe. Everything is too sweet, and the soufflé pancake was not worth the hype. Onigiri and musubi are overpriced for the amount of food

Having lived in Tokyo this place is legit! Sakura pancakes were fluffy and light, not too sweet. We added karaage to the egg curry and it was delicious. The beef curry onigiri was scrumptious and the warabi mochi latte was so unique and yummy. Certainly worth the drive from DC and will be back soon!!!

A cute and tasty but crowded cafe! By the time they opened at 11:30am on Saturday, there was already a line forming. By 11:50am, it was packed. Ordering is fast and easy through kiosks on either end of the shop, and it's well decorated with cute anime products. There are some tables inside, but you might need to wait until one is empty to sit down. Their eggplant curry was delicious, and their pancakes were perfectly not too sweet :) It takes 20 min to make each souffle pancake, but they get everything out asap!
