I ordered the chicken donburi. What I received was NOT donburi. I'm extremely disappointed in what I received. It looks like I ordered chicken teriyaki, stir fried vegetables, and rice. Called the gentleman who was at the register when I picked up my food, and told him that I was surprised that my donburi looked the way it did. He then asked if it had rice, stir fried vegetables and teriyaki chicken, I said "yes, but isn't that just chicken teriyaki, vegetables, and rice?" He then told me that that was the way they cooked it and at least I know for next time I ordered. He did not show any concern in trying to offer some comfort by understanding my frustration with what I received, which was disappointing, but it is what it is. I thanked him for at least confirming that I received the right dish, and hung up the phone.
I'll probably give them a second chance, being that this was my first time there, so I'll more than likely try a generalized food next time. I do live in an area where asian cuisine is hard to come by, so this will have to do in a pinch. I am definitely hesitant in ordering something more specialized from their menu.
My meal costed around $15 dollars, and I also tipped 15%. $17 or so...Just wanted to let the donburi lovers out there know that this is not a place to order ANY donburi, unless you wish to eat stir fried chicken teriyaki. Only recommending standard asian foods from this place. Mahalo.
The building is a little older but it does not put a damper on how good and fresh your food is and how well they are with their customer service. Did not have to wait long and gave good recommendation as to what food choice options there are to select from.
I always Chicken and beef fried rice, and the soup here is immaculate.
Great dinner tonight. They were very busy, but food and service were excellent!
It was good food, friendly server and filling.
Fantastic takeout spot! Ordered for a group of 8 so we could eat it over at Lake Sylvia and everything was spot on. Good portions, good value. Go for the chicken teriyaki over the orange chicken, and the Gyoza over the egg rolls.
Cute and close to town. Food was decent but ordinary.
Food is good. Service is great when opened. They are closed on weekends which is a bummer. The atmosphere can be updated, but overall good.
Love their food. And the sushi is super good...and each piece is the perfect size; a little smaller than other places but I like it better!
