Food was really good, and at a decent price too.

Not hawaiian owned or even operated, feels p exploitative of kānaka culture. food is abt what’d you’d expect from a bunch of haoles, and kinda bland. always weird to me is the double standard of appropriation against native peoples.

Very friendly service. Food is delicious and you get large portions. We always get 2 meals out of it. We love it and are regular customers.

I love the bbq

The issue may have been that I ordered as soon as they opened but the food wasn't the greatest in my opinion. Ordered the BBQ plate and the spam sushi . Seaweed was to chewy but one removed the rest was pretty good. The BBQ was rough. Didn't eat the short rib or the chicken both were extremely rubbery. But the slices steak was decent good rice and good pasta. Overall not for me but hope they do well its a cool concept.

Food is fresh and hot, reminds me of home. Cashier was very attentive and welcoming. All the food was good. Tips: play an island music playlist, serve Portuguese sausage, eggs and rice. 11/29/2023 Still enjoy this place. Comfortable atmosphere and good service. Mini kalua pork and a spam musubi is the prefect amount of food. 5/18/2023 Mixed plate is always good. I go with the katsu and kalua pork combo. I need a carb nap now. 1/5/2024 Still good. Tried the BBQ cheeseburger this time. Pretty good. Fresh vegetables for a refreshing crunch. No one here since college semester hasn't started yet. They have a discount going on right now to encourage folks to place an order.

Service is always really friendly. Love the chicken katsu, the chicken katsu masubi, the macaroni salad, and the malasadas!
