Drove thru town me and my co worker stop in our dump trucks to have lunch and the barbQ was delicious and the Mac n cheese was delicious

I had a craving for barbecue for dinner and this place certainly hit the spot! The pulled pork bbq sandwich and fries were delicious. I even ordered a plate to go for my mom! The owner and staff were all very friendly to me and everyone else who came and went as I was there. I was happy to have discovered this restaurant and will certainly return when I am passing through.

I have eaten here more times than I can remember over the years (he was in business far before moving here). He had catered my wedding reception and retirement party. The food is always fresh and good. The smoked Mac and Cheese is to die for.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. They catered our middle school teacher luncheon & Marlow went above and beyond to ensure our teachers were well fed. The pulled chicken and pork bbq were full of flavor and he threw in smoked chicken thighs! We will definitely use his catering services again.

Listen I cook I am A chef aswell. The food was freaking awesomely delicious. The brisket was like eating a very finely seasoned cake. Why cake? It was effortlessly easy to bite and chew. Did I say chew?? I didn't have to. I rubbed my tongue against my and it disintegrated. Tasty is an understatement. Marlow you did a job worthy of an award. Kudos ohhhh !!! Marlow is the Chef.... Best BBQ in Virginia, don’t waste your time and money at those carnival style bbq joints that have been here 50 years Try OG BBQ beef brisket with slaw and puppies. Best all around barbecue

Stopped by OG BBQ (old Cowlings) on the way back from vaca. The service was super friendly and fast. The pulled pork sandwich had a great smoked flavor and taste. Would like to see different options for sauce. Will stop by next time heading to the beach. Thank you!
