Picked up my first burger for lunch from Off the Hoof today and it is excellent! It was missing one of the 3 slices of bacon but I don't care because it's still one of the best burgers I've had! Thank you, Off the Hoof! Not greasy AT ALL, delicious, quality meet in both the burger and the bacon. I will be returning for more goodness!

I’ve been wanting to go check this place out, after today’s experience I will not be back and will discourage other patrons. I simply wanted to spend about $200 on some steaks and asked what they had ready. I turned around after speaking with the staff to grab some thick cut bacon, I returned to the counter and waited about 2 minutes ( no big deal they were busy getting things ready). I eventually rang the bell for service. The younger gal asked do you still need help. I replied “that’s why I rang the bell”. Another gal slightly older came out and interrupted as that happened the younger gal turned around and spoke poorly of me. I asked what did she say? I heard perfectly well what she said, I at this point just left as I did so the older gal decided to verbally attack me as I walked out. I decided to vote with my wallet! Shame! I would of purchased at least several hundred dollars worth a week. I prefer to patronize locally owned businesses. I will avoid this business. I to am a business owner and this makes me sad employees would treat any customer like I was treated.

Wanted to have burgers for my birthday. Went in about 3:00pm., first time going. We were told by a young lady grill closes at 3:00. This is not posted on website.

Prices are very comparable to kroger but fresher and from the farm ...Shop local!!!!!!

Used to have great quality foods for fair prices. One downside is it may be tough to get in and served during lunch hour. Deli clerks often ignore you until THEY are ready to serve you. Second time in a row I had to leave and go elsewhere because I couldn’t get waited on. A few other customers as well. Told owner. He checked the video and agreed it was UNSAT. Graciously offered to comp our next trip. Good help is getting harder and harder to find. Owners are good folks!

If you order anything sliced from the deli meat/cheese counter, the workers will likely slice your deli meat/cheese while holding the phone, talking on the phone, handling ink pens and writing notes down from whoever they are on the phone with. Although wearing gloves, this is not a sanitary way to slice a customers deli meat/cheese order. Ink pens, phones, and note pads are NOT clean and I'd prefer my deli meat/cheese order to NOT make me sick. Customers typically eat deli meat/cheese COLD, and not cooked to kill the germs it picked up from improper unsanitary handling. So---I would avoid getting deli meat/cheese here unless you plan to really heat it well to kill those germs, but everything else I've ever bought here the last several years, that actually must be cooked, has been delicious and typically priced pretty good (roasts, pork loins, bacon, etc...) .

Absolutely love this place!! So glad Murray has a good butcher!
