Great food!

Very good service Scallops were soft on the inside with crispier edges which is how I like them The poutines here are a healthier alternative than the ones I had in Canada Update in 2022. Was worried because this place opened during the pandemic...so happy it is doing well. Had the waffles today, cooked perfectly to my liking (crispy). I think their batter is a little different, it has a unique texture, almost like corn meal being mixed in but I don't think it is corn meal. In any case will be back 2023 still good!

25 minutes for French toast with berries and a dish with potato wedges, pork belly, and 2 poached eggs! There was one other two top eating. Our waiter never explained what the problem was. When he delivered our food, I asked if it usually takes this long! Food was very expensive, $4.00 for iced tea, 15.00 for two slices if French toast with berries. I wish we had left when I saw the prices on the menu. The breakfast in the picture came to $50.00!

Restaurant was cute and clean. Herb potatoes were delish. Pancakes were a little lacking in flavor. Overall, it definitely gave me the Canadian food vibe.

Got the Soul in a Bowl, and added an extra egg, mushrooms and an avocado - worth it! Our server was Alana, and she suggested the green machine smooth - it was very thick and could be a meal all by itself, it was better than jamba juice. Wife had the shorty ribs- which smelled good, and the kids got the BLT and a croque - Alana got the food to our table quick even though they were very busy and we all shared side of potatoes - they were crispy and seasoned how we like it! When we are back up this way we will make sure to stop here again and again! Vegetarian options: the kid is a vegetarian and was happy to see vegetarian options available - also, Alana said the smoothies are what some vegetarians order, so we did and it was good Dietary restrictions: my wife cant have dairy and Alana was able to suggest how she could get the hollandaise - my wife was happy

We had the wonderful pleasure of finding OEB while staying at the close by Hyatt Place. The Hyatt platform includes free breakfast yet I wound up having breakfast at OEB 3 days in a row. This outstanding scratch restaurant is like no other. From a simple avocado toast, Chia pudding to a even better Benny breakfast there food surpassed all other dining experiences. Duck fat fries were remarkable. A special thank you to Ryan for introducing many special menu choices. We look forward to our next trip there.

The eggs Benedict was served on a cold plate. Not the kind to waste food I ate it anyway. But my food service experience is that plates come out of the Hobart hot hot hot. I explained the cold plate to the waiter and he nodded, "The plates are not supposed to be hot." Management came over and said he would rather I not write a review that might reflect poorly and why didn't I just send the eggs back? where I assume they would become garbage. He wanted to make it up to me so he gave me a gift card. $10, breakfast was $20.

Two stars because the waitress was sweet. Ordered a mimosa flight and they came out in tiny portions with far too much fruit/juice. The champagne was flat, even after sending back for a replacement. I ordered the classic breakfast, eggs were under cooked, bacon was waaaayyy overcooked, the croissant was more like a cinnamon role impersonating a croissant. The place was super cute, but I was very disappointed in the food and drink.
