I went to this restaurant because it was recommended by a friend. However, I can honestly tell you that this place is not worth it. The big rib eye that we ordered medium came in charred, the half chicken came out also charred and under cooked. The bill came out to over $400 not including tip. I'm not one to complain about prices but I expect the food to be worth it. Save your money & your stomach. There are better restaurants in the area.
Second time at ODO. Service is excellent, staff is very friendly, attentive and patiently explain the menu; also, the orders are communicated to the kitchen via tablets. The menu is limited (which is actually appreciated), but has enough to choose from. Must try the Chicken - OMG!
Fantastic and lovely food
Great concept but the food is over salty and over priced… also waiters lied about portion. Heard great things about this place but highly disappointed…. Westchester has a lot of other great places
Excellent food and service in a casual environment. The restaurant is very small, giving it a cozy, warm feel. Everything was wonderful, although a bit loud. The food is the star and will draw me back again and again. We ordered a salad and split their homemade trenne pasta as an appetizer. We followed with the halibut, tender and moist, which was served on a sauce of eggplant, garlic, and tomato.
First off, a huge huge hats off to the staff here. What a fantastic bunch of funny, welcoming, light hearted people. Maria was our server and she is an absolute gem. We were a bit worried about bringing our 6 month old with us for dinner but Maria sorted us out with a table by the window, and she and the rest of the staff were just so fantastic towards us and our little guy, Ciaran. In a place where there were many adults coming for a nice dinner, the fact they were so accommodating of us and our baby was just phenomenal, and it made us (and him!) feel so at ease. Haven’t even got to the food yet, and boy were we bowled over. Scarpetta was just phenomenal - home made focaccia and buttery, capery sauce to die for. Gorgeous panzanella , and the pastas…. I mean I’ve never had triangular pasta in a raw tomato sauce before, but please could I have that again, every day? Wonderful place, people, food, atmosphere, drinks. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes! Thank you for making mom and dad’s date night with the baby something special!
If you haven't been, you are missing out. No one knows food better than Chef Nick. Every meal and every cocktail I've ever had at ODO has been outstanding, but this week's sunday dinner takes the cake. The best mussels I've ever had. Always looking forward to my next meal at ODO. Don't sleep on this one!
