The coconut shrimp appetizer was a disaster. 4 overcooked bland batter shrimp with coconut flakes tossed on as an afterthought. The goat meat was dry and lacked flavor. The greens had no flavor other than being sweet. I asked for a scotch bonnet pepper and was served a habanero that was not even ripe. Advice: if you’re looking for authentic Jamaican dishes, look elsewhere. This is not it.
The bartender was incredibly friendly and made the best drinks. The food was savory and the restaurant is beautiful. We had family visiting from out of town and they loved it!
Really loved the entire atmosphere. At different times during my dining experience, I had deep and meaningful conversations with the chef, server, and bartender.
Delicious food and a very attentive waiter who was most pleasant. Next time I'll go for happy hour.
Great food! We had the jerk chicken and the surf and turf. The portions were huge and well worth the money. Slightly disappointed that they were out of plantains, but the other side dishes were very good. The cocktails were ok and on the cheaper side.
The food is cooked over night and microwave for each order. Not authentic Jamaica food. The only people that love it is the not Jamaicans who believes that’s how Jamaican food really taste. My jerk chicken had a lot of honey in it.
Good food, Great service. We came in about 20 minutes before closing (definitely not on purpose) and were still able to be seated and did not feel rushed. The food was good and fresh. It was also in a cute area. I would def go back.
