Ocean Prime

Had a reservation for early dinner on a Friday. Excellent service, reasonable waiting times for food. I would recommend sticking to their seafood dishes vs ordering chicken or steak. Now, let’s dive into their dishes. Their Ocean and Spicy Tuna rolls are both a 10/10. Very fresh and tasty. The Teriyaki Salmon was alright, i found it to be too sweet for my liking. The lobster linguini was delicious though. Great blend of flavors without being too overpowering. Pasta and lobster were cooked to perfection. The black truffle mac and cheese was the best mac and cheese i have had so far. It was creamy, incredibly tasty, and cooked well. The bacon creamed spinach tasted well. If you like bacon, you’ll love it. Other family members had the steak and it was alright, not memorable. Location makes it hard to find street parking but they do have valet. Restaurant is neat and clean. Proper dress required for entry.

Went here for a dinner for three people a few months ago. Food was presented nicely, but ultimately not really better than Outback Steakhouse for 3x the price. The Au Poivre sauce was very mediocre despite being $9 per plate (!!). Service was poor. We sat outside and I spent a lot of time staring through the windows trying to catch the waiter’s attention, which was very frustrating.

The service was miserable. Everything took long, several requests required reminders. Wine (ordered by the glass, to be fair) was poured from unlabeled carafe without an offer to taste and approve. Water bottle was not refilled or replaced, when empty. Food is tasty and presented well. Dietary restrictions: Our allergy-based requirements were met. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is good, but lacks kid-size desserts

Very good food and ambience

I was craving both surf and turf. The steak was so good. Naturally, I also had to try the clam chowder, which was fantastic. A very quiet setting if you are looking for a place with great food where you can also have a private conversation. The warm butter cake was nice as well.

Ocean Prime came highly recommended to me by a number of people when I was planning my husbands’s surprise 40th dinner party. I had never been there before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I went in knowing it was pricey and upscale which was fitting for the special occasion. Let me just say we had an absolutely incredible night. We had a larger party and Yasmin helped me plan the event and accommodated all of us. The hostess was even in on the surprise as she pretended to seat us for 2 when we arrived. Anthony was our server and he was so incredibly patient and fun and very very efficient. He and Yasmin made this a night to remember and I was able to relax knowing that everything was being taken care of behind the scenes. We were even given a private room which we did not expect at all and that made our experience that much better. The food and atmosphere were just so great and so special. We will be coming back for sure and recommend Ocean Prime to anyone who is looking to have more of fancy/upscale experience in the Seaport. It was perfection!
