Bustling Chinese dim sum restaurant where carts provide a wide range of sometimes-adventurous items.

Definitely one of the best spots in Philly Chinatown for Cantonese food. Every dish comes out with the perfect amount of wok hei 鑊氣. As a New York/New Jersey native, we generally find ourselves pretty spoiled with the Cantonese offerings in the US. I say with confidence that Ocean Harbor can go toe-to-toe with most places you'll find in New York City. Where they definitely beat NYC would be their portions for the price.
Overall really good but found the servers pushy and they targeted the children getting them to order dishes we normally wouldn't.
Authentic delicious quality Dim Sum!
For many years a good place for dim sum and Cantonese cuisine in Philadelphia Chinatown. Recommend.
They were pretty slow but it meant we got food pretty quickly. Their chicken feet were very flavorful. The rest of the dim sum was pretty average.
The food delivery ladies were fine, but essentially no service from the waiters or waitress, and food is meh. Prices are not clearly listed, so pretty much hope you have enough cash when the bill is calculated, otherwise you will be charged for an extra 4% for using a credit card. The worst is the tips. Like I mentioned, they hardly provided any service, yet expect a tip of well over the norm. They will run out to you and demand you leave a sizable tip. Honestly, if not the family elders enjoy the nostalgia, no way I’d be stepping foot in there.
already left 20% tips at checkout with the lady at the front. Left $5 on the table for the bus boy. When we about to leave the male server pulled my husband over and said you have to leave 15% min tips. I took the money and gave extra $10 to the lady at the front. Unacceptable. Very bad experience at the end
My go to dim sum spot back when I lived in Philly. Authentic and has some quality taste to it, similar to the spots I've gone to in NYC.
If you are new to dim sum, might be hard to know what to order over here, so best to grab someone familiar with it.
