Been going to this shop because easy to talk to staff about equipment, classes or future trips. I got most of my courses with them because the instructors are highly skilled and supportive.

Ocean Enterprises is the real deal! Full-line of top quality gear, knowledgeable and friendly staff that never fails to greet me by name when I visit the shop. They offer a very wide selection of PADI certification and training including many specialties. I had been away from diving for several years and OE helped me update and upgrade my gear to get me ready for my PADI Reactivate class. The instructors are professional, down-to-earth, enthusiastic and flexible. No surprise they have been the go-to So Cal scuba diving resource for more than 40 years. I just completed my Dive Master training with OE and my son earned his Open Water Certification a few weeks ago allowing us to make our first father and son dive together at La Jolla Shores. PADI open water certification was a great experience! I got certified to prepare for a trip with friends and now I feel 100% confident. My instructors Kym, Ray, and Jason were incredible mentors and helpful every step of the way. If you're unsure about diving and pursuing a cert, go with Ocean Enterprises. The expertise and teaching is top notch. The equipment rentals and shop are also great for gear and everything you need. Can't wait to pursue my advanced cert here!

Today I came in looking for a dive watch. I’ve never had one and there are so many choices I needed guidance. Chris greeted me and shook my hand right away and was quick to help. He asked me important questions to nail down a dive watch that would work for me. Chris was VERY knowledgeable and worked with me. We finally came to one that fit my needs and dive level. He didn’t try to sell me the best or most expensive at all. I bought what worked for me and one Chris recommended. Chris explained why he recommended it which was helpful in me making a decision. This is exactly why I keep going back to this dive shop for ALL my diving needs. Great employees and everything is quality. Thanks Chris for a great experience. Can’t wait to try out my dive watch.

My boyfriend and I just completed our open water dive certification here. The entire experience was excellent. Our dive instructor, Kym, went above and beyond. She was a great communicator with changing plans due to the weather. Clear expectations were set and enforced. I felt safe and comfortable the entire course. The shop staff was friendly and helpful. We would absolutely recommend this shop!

I’ve used ocean enterprises for my open water, advanced, nitrox, drysuit, and rescue courses. Not to mention I bought every last piece of gear I own from OE. There’s a reason I keep coming back - everyone at OE is so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. If you’re on the fence about getting certified, just do it and catch the scuba bug like I did.
