Obu Ramen House

The food is great but the restaurant is way too short on staff. More than 50 mins for 2 ramens, incredible. 2 girls at the kitchen, 2 guys at the front including the manager and he also looks to not care that much. The other guys is literally killing himself, he is trying his best. It was exactly the same las week. Again, food is good but I’m not coming back. I’ll not support a business that abuse their employees like this. A ramen should not take that long.

Tried Chashu ramen and just loved it. Pork could have been thinner but the broth, noodles to meat ratio is just perfect.

Base broth was warm, not hot. Some tofu chunks were still cold, like right out of refrigerator. Waiter never brought us our drinks. But had them on the ticket. Had him take them off. Pmace was not busy for mistakes like these. Only 3/10 tables had patrons.

Waited for 1 hour to get the food and they forgot one entree….

The food here is okay. We went there on a slow day so I thought we would have good service. We ordered the chicken karaage and it was so disappointing it just looked and tasted like tenders from kfc. Our ramen also took forever to come and when it did it wasn’t even hot, just warm. It was decent in flavor but honestly I think jinya is better. I had also ordered no bean sprouts in it because I’m allergic but they didn’t bother to remove them. Our server never came our table to see if we needed a refill or anything else, he was just standing there talking to another coworker. The only thing that was good were the truffle fries, they were actually hot and they give you a good amount. Overall it wasn’t a good experience and we definitely wouldn’t go there again.
