O'Brien's Cafe

After driving past for five years, we finally took the plunge and jumped in. Where have you been all my life? Terrific food, outstanding service, fair prices, plus real "homemade" desserts. We've dined both breakfast and lunch. So much good stuff, it's hard to decide. AND, they will make it YOUR way, if you don't see what you want [substitute beans for potatoes; substitute green chili for sausage gravy]. You want it; they'll fix it.

I enjoy this cafe..nice girls, easy to get to. The food is typically good and prices are reasonable. I would like to see it be "refreshed" a bit as everything is pretty used or worn in well. The lights could be upgraded as could the paint. The seats are a bit past their prime. BUT that all being said, you will get a good meal to enjoy. Now if they would just stay open an hour longer and open for dinner one night a week ( like a Thursday or Friday) so people in the community had a casual affordable dinner option that was close it would sure be nice. The owner is very kind and always there doing her best for her customers.

A bit on the pricey side. But nice personel and good service.

So this place food was a very small portion. I got conbeef hash eggs and hash browns. Well, it looked like I ordered a kids' meal. I literally got like 6 fork full of hash, and they fill your plate with eggs to make it look like a good deal potatoes. There was this old man there who was on his cellphone talking supper loudly. I said something he was not eating either but they don't care he's was a regular they did not ask him to stop I mean he was cursing and it was loud I said something to the staff and they said they curse too. lol, this place is older than dirt, not updated or anything. You would think they would keep up with the times, yes, so I overpaid for my meal with a drink. My total was $18.95. For once again no food and a grand total with tip $25 bucks, I feel ripped off . This place is way over priced go anywhere but here for breakfast waffle House puts out a way better breakfast

You want the best little Cafe in Sedalia!! Then you found it!! Good little place...fun staff good food !! If you come with with "big city" expectations just dont....this is a fun little cafe/diner.....they make good food ...if they make a mistake they fix it...been coming here for years...it's always fun....good "local" atmosphere etc....I really enjoy reading people's reviews...it's amazing they leave their homes at all because they can't be pleased.....
