OBON Sushi Bar Ramen

We had a pleasant lunch sitting outside on their patio. The vegan deathfreefoodie ramen bowl was delicious as well as the vegan street noodles(I had them do teriyaki sauce for less spicy). The bao bun was good too but a bit small for $7 each. Overall it was a great experience and we would come back again.

Went here for dinner last night with family and friends and had the Takaki Maki roll. It was filling and delicious. The Salmon Asparagus roll and Kantu Beef were also very much enjoyed. The fried chicken sandwich was the least amazing out of the four. The location is conveniently near downtown and the atmosphere is pleasant if you’re facing away from the bar. Definitely recommend for a nice dinner out.

As Gordon ramsey said if the service is bad it doesn’t matter how good the food is. We got sat down and no one absolutely none of the waiters walking by acknowledged us. We sat there for 20 min, not even what can I get you to drink nor water. Completely avoid this garbage. Ginza has better sushi

Used to be my favorite place to get ramen and I absolutely love their pineapple sake. Unfortunately their prices have skyrocketed since 2 years ago. I waited 45 minutes after the hostess told me 10-15. Also It used to be $12.50 for the tonkotsu ramen, now it’s $18.50. Extremely disappointed in the TWO nigiri that I spent $9.50 on to go. Don’t bother ordering sushi, it’s too expensive and you don’t get very much at all. As much as I used to love this place I think I’ll be trying to find a new ramen spot. ☹️

I ordered takeout sushi and they didn’t give me any wasabi or pickled ginger with my order. I have never in my life gotten a sushi order without these accoutrements …. It really impacted my ability to enjoy the sushi. Disappointed to say the least.

Vegan Death Free Foodie ramen is delicious. On the spicy side. Flavors delicious. Veggie roll is substantial! Good ingredients. Lovely outdoor seating. Wish there were a few more vegan items. Most other dishes are not vegan.
