OAK'D BBQ

Ordered for pick up on Uber eats. Uber eats notified that the order was ready for pick up. On arrival, I was sent to the register for pick up orders, then sent back down the line because the order wasn’t ready. At the start of the line, I was told 4 items on my order were no longer available. They took about 30min to notify me that the order couldn’t be fulfilled after confirming the order was ready. Terrible service.

I had the 2 meats meal. I chose brisket burnt ends and brisket. They also have pork burnt end option as well and jalapeño cheddar sausage and pork spare ribs and more. I had the potato salad and collard greens which both were wonderful choices. They have a lot of sides to choose from. They also have a full bar. I had the deep ellum blonde. The service was phenomenal and fast and friendly! The atmosphere was very clean and inviting!! The smells are delicious! These guys know what’s up!! Come taste the vibe!!

The sauce is terrible. They don’t have like a regular bbq sauce, nor a spicy sauce option. The brisket was flavorless.. but the sausage was pretty good! I loved the Mac and cheese!! However, beans were not that great. I’d recommend a different bbq place.. The young man that cashed us out was great. Very kind young man!

We arrived around 7.30pm and expected the choices to be unavailable but luckily managed to try some brisket, ribs and pulled pork on the 4 meats combo. The service was excellent and the food was such good value compared to other places we have been, would come back for more for sure.
