Oaka Supercity George Street

Food is absolutely delicious and well priced. Staff are friendly too. Really nice spot

Went to OAKA Supercity today to try some of their street food for lunch. The lady who served me was very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Big portion too. I had the beef curry on ramen noodles which I'd highly recommend. I'll definitely be going again.

Have been a regular for several years now. Good Chinese food, suitable for takeaway or eating in. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, even offering to extra wrap my takeout when they noticed I was placing it in my own bag. To order, you can choose between sizes, the carbs (type of noodle or rice), and what meat/veg option. There is also a selection of bao, dumplings, etc, which are always incredibly tasty and a good snack to have while walking back, however they are slightly on the expensive side. Aside from the restaurant, keep in mind there is a small Asian supermarket taking up half the store, with a variety of sauces, noodles and anything else you would need for cooking an Asian dish. Would highly recommend a visit if in the area.

Went to Oaka on a lunchbreak - honestly what a great wee place. The supermarket had so much variety that I was blown away. Had some of their takeaway street food and it was better than it had any right to be - super pleased and it was a reasonable price too! Will be back

Bit pricey but has a ramen shop inside. Friendly staff, and a big frozen food section. Convenient location on George St.

Ate here one night when staying nearby, had the chicken teriyaki and pork char siu combo with ramen. both were delicious but sauce was slightly too watery. On the day i visited i wasnt wearing my contact lenses and when i asked if I could have a physical menu i was instructed to use my phone to scan a qr code which i had left at home to charge. it defo could be worth getting a couple physical menus laminated, I had to spend a solid 5 mins squinting at the tv above the counter.
