They keep pouring drinks without consent of the table to inflate your bill. That's a huge red flag. Slow service and mediocre food to boot. I would recommend going elsewhere.

We were so excited to come experience a good meal, thinking with this price point “Service” would NEVER be an issue Well it was not their best last… The manager was walking around on his cell phone all night. Sitting over by the bar where we were…I was in complete shock watching him constantly on phone It took us forever to just get a drink No one wanted to come and take our order It was an awful evening just trying to get someone’s attention It took over 45 minutes to get our food Our meal was cold and the sides were like warm I sent back my meal with the sides It another 15 minutes to get our meal and sides My meal was not cooked properly on the second try and then had to send it back yet again No one came by to check on us … I was appalled…. I have never had such a stressful meal trying to flag down a manager /severs For the money, I do not suggest this place We sat at the bar thinking we would get fast service -I was completely wrong Overall: -1 in Service and professionalism I was really expecting to get exceptional food and never did I think service would ever be an issue but I will NOT recommend - we will go back to our “safe easy” Little Alleys or Chops Really in shocked how this restaurant’s operations and service

Phenomenal! Food was A+, Service was incredible, and the atmosphere was great. Valet right out front, so easy to get in and out.

We had a fabulous evening for NYE at Oak. We arrived early and were seated at out reservation time with Sam. The bar was full but has a great fun atmosphere. We brought our empty stomachs and were not disappointed. To start we had the pork belly, scallops and oysters Rockefeller. The oysters were fresh hot, tender and well garnish. It was definitely the best I've had in YEARS. They featured an extravagant crab stuffed lobster to ring in the new year and it was huge. The tail was from my wrist to my elbow. The brussel Sprouts are definitely something we have to get again along with the glazed corn bread. For dessert I had a little room left to squeeze in a bit of the chocolate cake and my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed the limited baked Alaska. We can't wait to come back! Parking: Free valet out front of parking garage by temper pedic Wheelchair accessibility: Flat restaurant, open walkways

Great atmosphere and great people. The steaks however are average at best. I had the New York strip and it was undercooked and served luke warm and was kinda tough. I would have sent it back but it took 1.5 hours from our sitting to having the food served and didn’t want to wait any longer.

I am compelled to share a distressing experience at this well-known establishment, particularly during a Christmas dinner that I had organized for a group of 22 people. The dinner, priced at $150 per person, was expected to meet a minimum spend of $5000. However, the evening was marred by a significant lack of transparency and unprofessional conduct from the staff, particularly concerning the wine service. Before dinner started , we were presented with a limited choice of only four wines, with no discussion about their prices. Throughout the evening, the waitstaff continually poured wine for the guests to some without consent or inquiry, as if to get rid of the bottles. Many guests reported that they did not request wine, yet it was served to them. Notably, one guest had two glasses of an unrequested wine poured for him. The most alarming aspect of this service was the utter disregard for transparency. The staff failed to inform us upon reaching the minimum spend and continued to serve one of the most expensive bottles available, priced at $284, as if it were a commonplace selection. This lack of communication and the aggressive pouring of high-priced wine without consent significantly inflated our bill. At the end of the evening, I was shocked to find that the wine and drinks alone had exceeded $5,000, bringing the total bill, including tip, to over $9,000. Despite my dismay, I settled the bill to avoid a scene but voiced my concerns about the wine selection and the lack of transparency. The waiter said admittedly that he was untrained in discussing prices. This led to a harassing encounter by the manager. After some more back and forth and telling him I felt taken advantage of, I PAID the tab as we were making a scene. This led to another confrontational encounter with the manager, who then followed me outside past the restaurant to the valet area and harassed me more. The discussion, which I hoped would be constructive, escalated to the point where I felt physically threatened by the manager's aggressive demeanor. This experience highlights a serious issue with the restaurant's approach to customer service and transparency. It is unacceptable for a reputable establishment to exploit its customers' trust, particularly in a setting where patrons are celebrating a special occasion. The management needs to urgently reassess their policies and ensure that their staff is adequately trained to provide clear, honest information, especially regarding pricing. This incident not only reflects poorly on the restaurant's reputation but also serves as a cautionary tale for diners seeking a transparent and respectful dining experience.
