Super cool interior, but overall, we expected more. The service was the most inattentive waiter I have ever experienced at any restaurant I’ve been to. The menu had dishes that were very interesting in description, but was really hit or miss on the execution. Had a really great cocktail, the Penny Dropper, but after that, we felt like we spent a fortune for a sub-par experience.
I went to grab a drink tonight during my stay after a long day of walking around town. My sister was in visiting the city from out of town, I wanted to show her my favorite bar in back bay. Needless to say the overweight, translucent, alternative lifestyle gentleman was extremely rude to us and pushed us away as we were ordering a very pricy drink. Sadly had to leave and felt very uncomfortable…. Not the typical way that customers are treated. Needless to say I’ve also frequented many other fairmont locations and I am highly disappointed. -bill.
We went for brunch and 2 of our meals came out 5 minutes after ordering. The next two came out 10 minutes later and a simple egg dish came out 10 minutes after that. They weren’t very apologetic and took 2 drinks off the bill. Food wasn’t great and there was small flies flying around our table.
Terrible service. Open tables and bar spaces and they make their guests wait for no reason. Disorganized and do t care about their customer service.
Excellent atmosphere to be with friends and family, drinks are really good, I really liked the Piper Sonoma
We were a large group and they were not happy about it. Actually told us rudely that they wouldn't do separate checks and that we needed to leave quickly because they wanted to turn over one of the tables. It wasn't our server but someone else that was the rude one.
